About Me

Ever since I was a young boy, I’ve been captivated by 22 players kicking a ball around a field for 90 minutes.

Yes, it really is that simple.

Whether it be on the terraces, in front of the tv or by the radio, the game is central to whatever else may be happening around me. Nothing else matters.

Commentators have played a vital role in shaping my own personal appreciation for the game. Listening to the radio with my Dad, the commentator painting the picture in my mind with the crowd rumbling underneath like a film score, carrying the scene in question. It’s always made me want to do the same.

For all of my working life I’ve been a professional actor and creative. Performing on some of the biggest stages around and having my own plays performed in London and around the UK.

However something was always missing for me and it all stemmed from my one true passion from when I was boy.

In 2023, I finally decided to pursue a career in live football commentary and from that moment, I haven’t looked back…

Starting with Kingstonian FC in the Isthmian Division for their dedicated Mixlr fan radio channel, to then providing audio descriptive commentary at Crawley Town for fans in stadium with visual impairments and now offering live audio coverage of top level games for a variety of global score tracking apps.

My sights are only ever focused on the next chance, whatever the level, to sit in the gantry, take hold of the mic and share with the listener my love of the game.

I’m only just at the start but I’m excited beyond even my own words to see where my career will lead.

See you up in the gantry…

“It’s a small boy clambering up stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father’s hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him and, without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.”
